ARLINGTON, Va. – McDaniel scored twice in the game's first 6:38 en route to an 8-1 victory over Marymount in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday.

Paola Rosa (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) led the Green Terror (6-0) with her first two goals of the season and finished as one of three players with multiple tallies.

Chloe McAuliffe broke up the shutout for the Saints (3-4), scoring in the 56th minute.

Just 5:20 into the game, Kirsten Gibson (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) finished a pass from Abby Keen (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) before Gibson doubled the lead off a Maggie Quinn (Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding) feed just 1:18 later.

Rosa scored twice in a 2-minute, 12-second span to make it a 4-0 game at the 19:35 mark.

Lindsey Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) found Katie Kirschenmann (Damascus, Md./Damascus) in the 39th minute before finishing her own solo urn in the 33rd minute.

Erin Brinley (DeWitt, N.Y./JamestownDeWitt) scored her first collegiate goal in the 37th minute to make it a 7-0 game at the break.

After McAulifffe broke up the shutout, Brinley tacked on her second of the game to set the final margin in the 78th minute.

Sarah McDonald (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) made two saves in the first half for McDaniel while Carolina Saavedra had six stops in 66 minutes of relief action at the other end.

The Green Terror finished with a 22-3 advantage in shots and 7-0 edge in corner kicks.

McDaniel opens the Centennial Conference schedule at home against Muhlenberg on Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m.
