Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – Stevenson shot 69.0 percent in a 72-66 victory over McDaniel in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South men's basketball tournament on Wednesday.
Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) led the Green Terror (14-13) with 18 points and nine rebounds. Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) added 14 points while Andrew Merlo (Rehoboth, Del./Cape Henlopen) chipped in 13 points.
Colby Ciacubeno netted 17 points, including four of the team's five 3-pointers to lead the Mustangs (19-9) into Saturday's semifinals at Bethany.
Trailing 28-26 on a Brooks 3-pointer with 4:29 to play in the first half, Justin Kuntz hit a jumper to tie the game and spark an 8-2 burst.
Christian Roberts hit a triple with 1:25 showing to give his team a 34-30 lead en route to a 36-34 halftime edge.
Ryan Hill pushed the lead back to four 28 seconds into the second half before two Stewart free throws and a Brooks jumper tied the game at 38-all.

A Merlo three-point play swelled the lead as large as 48-44 before Giacubeno hit back-to-back triples to give Stevenson a 50-48 edge with 12:31 showing.
Trailing 54-52, Roberts hit a jumper to spark a 9-0 run. Ryan Hill capped the stretch with a dunk at the 4:36 mark.
A Brooks triple closed the gap to 65-62 but that's as close as the Green Terror could get.
The Mustangs built a lead as large as 22-16 in the first half before McDaniel rallied with a 7-2 run.
