WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel will host Stevenson for the first round of the 2015 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South men's basketball tournament on Wednesday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The Green Terror (14-12) earned the No. 7 seed but will host the second-seeded Mustangs (18-9) in the quarterfinals of the eight-team tournament. McDaniel is making its third straight ECAC appearance.

The winner of Wednesday's game will meet the winner of the matchup between No. 3 Waynesburg (18-10) and No. 6 Hood (14-12) in one of Saturday's semifinals. The other semifinal will pit the winners of No. 1 Penn State-Behrend (23-3) and No. 8 Bethany (17-10) and No. 4 DeSales (17-9) and No. 5 Arcadia (14-12). Matchups will take place at the winner of the Penn State-Behrend and Bethany matchup.

The championship game will take place between the two semifinal winners on Sunday.

McDaniel earns the postseason berth after reaching the Centennial Conference first round.

Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) leads the team in scoring at 15.5 points per game and is shooting 55.5 percent from the floor. He is also the team's leading rebounder at 6.4 boards per contest.

Andrew Merlo (Rehoboth, Del./Cape Henlopen), Phil Perry (Crownsville, Md./Annapolis Area Christian), Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) are also among the scoring leaders on the team. Merlo is averaging 7.7 ppg and leads the team with 50 assists. Perry is averaging 7.6 ppg and paces the squad with 42 steals. Brooks is averaging 7.2 ppg with 48 assists and 41 steals. Brooks also has 41 3-pointers, which is tops on the team.
