Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) led the Green Terror (4-2, 2-1 CC) with 18 points and four steals.
Chirs Bourne paced the Garnet (6-0, 3-0 CC) with 16 points while Zach Yonda added 12 points.
Tied at 49-all on two Austin Cannon (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) free throws with 5:27 to play, the teams went nearly two minutes without another point.
Bourne broke the deadlock, putting back a Sean Thaxter miss with 3:38 on the clock, sparking the game-clinching burst over the next 69 seconds.
Yonda hit two free throws and Matt Brennan drained a 3-pointer to account for the run.
Cannon answered Brennan with a triple of his own but a Yonda putback at the other end made it a six-point game with 1:27 to play.
One Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del./Smyra) free throw and a Bourne jumper pushed the lead back to seven before Brooks drained a 3-pointer with 36.3 seconds left.
Sam Lebryk hit two of his four free-throw attempts in the waning second to secure the win.
Five points from Yonda helped the Garnet build an early 7-2 lead before a Stewart three-point play sparked a 9-0 response to make it an 11-7 game with 10:44 to play in the first half.
Swarthmore rebuilt a 27-19 lead with 4:15 remaining before Brooks pulled up at the foul line to beat the first-half buzzer and make it a 29-25 game at the break.
A Brennan 3-pointer with 16:41 showing gave the visitors a 39-29 lead.
Trialing 41-31, Brooks canned a triple with 13:53 on the clock to spark an 11-4 rally that drew the hosts even six minutes later.
Stewart finished with 11 points while Kevin Yrizarry (Owings Mills, Md./Owings Mills) added 10 points and nine rebounds.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Marymount on Sunday, Dec. 13. Game time is 4 p.m.
