Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) scored a career-high 22 points to lead the Green Terror (2-0), who advances to Sunday's championship game against the host Spartans.
Marcus Thomas paced the Bobcats (1-1) with 17 points.
McDaniel jumped out to a 9-0 lead behind five points from Duane Echols (Jessup, Md./Hammond) before Pitt-Greensburg dented the scoreboard with a three-point play by Thomas with 17:55 to play.
A Kevin Yrizarry (Owings Mills, Md./Owings Mills) putback and Christopher Cantine (Baltimore, Md./Randallstown) 3-pointer in the corner pushed the lead to double digits for the first time at 14-3 with 17:02 showing.
A Thomas triple napped a nearly three-minute drought by both teams before Brooks just beat the shot clock at the other end with a 15-foot baseline jumper.
The McDaniel lead ballooned to 30-14 on a Yrizarry putback with 4:39 to play.
Jarell Figueroa snapped a 5-minute, 15-second drought for the Bobcats, hitting the team's fourth 3-pointer of the first half.
A Brooks steal and three-point play pushed the advantage to 37-20 with 1:17 showing en route to a 39-22 game at the break.
The Bobcats scored eight of the first 10 points in the second half to close to within 41-30 with 18:12 remaining.
A Colin Bortner (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) fast-break layup pushed the lead back to 47-33 with 16:28 on the clock.
A Thomas three-point play closed the deficit to 49-39 with 9:55 remaining.
A Brooks trey pushed the lead back out to 56-40 with 7:10 showing but a Figueroa three-point play capped an 8-0 run to pull his team within 56-48 with 4:48 to play but could get no closer.
Echols chipped in 18 points for the Green Terror while Christopher Cantine (Baltimore, Md./Randallstown) and Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) added 11. Stewart led the way on the glass with nine rebounds while Yrizarry had eight and Brooks added six to go with three assists and four steals.
