Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel recorded a pair of sweeps to record a 2-0 day, including defeating Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Saturday.

The Green Terror (17-6, 6-2 CC) topped Haverford 25-22, 25-23, 25-23 before also sweeping FDU-Florham, 25-12, 25-22, 27-25.

Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) led the Green Terror with 33 kills and 24 digs on the day, tallying a double-double in both matches. Against the Fords (17-9, 6-2 CC), she recorded 20 kills against just one error and hit .442 while adding 13 digs. Against the Devils (21-11), Martin had 13 kills and 11 digs.

Colette Kellen (Olney, Md./Covenant Life) finished the day with 29 assists, including 23 against Haverford, to finish the day with 2,024 assists and become just the third player in program history to reach the 2,000-assist plateau for her career. She also added 13 digs in the first match.

Meg O'Day led the Fords with 16 kills.

Trailing 21-20 late in the first set, Teryn Rath (Grass Valley, Calif./Bear River) knocked down a kill to tie the score before Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor School) notched back-to-back kills.

A bad set made it set point before a Valentine Courouble kill closed the margin to 24-22. An attack error ended the set.

McDaniel opened up a 12-8 led in the second set and extended the lead as large as 20-13 before the Fords put together a 7-2 run to knot the score at 22-all.

Kills by Rath and Martin helped close out the win.

Back-to-back O'Day kills gave Haverford a 21-18 lead in the third set but two Rose kills out of a timeout helped tie things up. Martin helped wrap things up with consecutive kills.

Rose finished with 10 kills in the match while Taylor Bauman (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) steadied the defense with 17 digs.

McDaniel jumped out to a 10-3 lead against FDU-Florham. A Martin kill extended the lead to 15-5 en route to a 25-12 first-set win.

Three Martin kills keyed an 8-0 start to the second set before the Devils tried to rally, getting as close as 19-18. Rose and Martin, however, closed out a 25-22 win with back-to-back kills.

The Green Terror opened up a 13-5 lead in the final set before Florham once again rallied, reeling off four straight points to tie the set at 20-all.

A Lexi Corral (Tucson, Ariz./Gaithersburg [Md.]) kill knotted the score at 25-all before an attacking error made it match point. Abby Graham (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) closed out the day with the final of her five kills.

McDaniel returns to action at Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
