GETTYSBURG, Pa. – McDaniel and Gettysburg played to a scoreless draw in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Wednesday.

Sarah McDonald (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) led the Green Terror (13-0-2, 5-0-2 CC) with eight saves in goal, including a diving save late in overtime to preserve the shutout.

Eliza Gray made four stops for the Bullets (7-2-5, 4-2-1 CC) at the other end.

Each team had chances to end the game in the first overtime.

In the 95th minute, Gettysburg's Lauren Schapiro put a free kick from just outside the 18 barely over the crossbar.

In the 100th minute, Katie Kirschenmann (Damascus, Md./Damascus) collected a service in front of the net and turned, firing just wide left.

McDaniel, which has recorded draws in its last two contests after a 13-0 start, returns to action at home against Haverford on Saturday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
