Box Score TAKOMA PARK, Md. – McDaniel scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat Washington Adventist 2-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday.
Pablo Bendana (Rockville, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) recorded an assist on both goals for the Green Terror (3-8-3), who scored twice in ta 24-minute span.
Lewis Franklin led the Shock (2-8-2) with three saves in net.
Bendana played a pass from the top of the box to Carlos Valdez Martinez (Silver Spring, Md./Blake), who finished a soft shot to the near post for a 1-0 lead in the 57th minute.
Just over 24 minutes later, Storm Robinson (Baltimore, Md./Our Lady of Mount Carmel) and Bendana played a give-and-go game before ahead to Brandon Rozanski (Severn, Md./Old Mill), who finished for his for his first collegiate goal.
Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made seven saves for the Green Terror.
Washington Adventist finished with a 22-16 edge in shots and 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Ursinus on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
