Over makes seven saves

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall, ranked No. 1 in the latest NSCAA Div. III poll, scored twice in the first half en route to a 5-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Saturday.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the Green Terror (2-8-2, 0-5 CC) with seven saves in net.

Chase TenBrook scored twice to help the Diplomats (12-0, 4-0 CC) remain undefeated.

TenBrook got Franklin & Marshall on the board in the 16th minute, finding the lower-left corner of the net.

Cole Niggeman doubled the advantage nearly 13 minutes later heading in a corner that was headed up in the air by Ben Wild.

Ugo Ukolie beat his defender and found the lower-right corner in the 55th minute before TenBrook blasted a shot off the crossbar in the 82nd minute for a 4-0 lead.

Dave Martin set the final margin, finishing a cross from the right side in the 85th minute.

Franklin & Marshall finished with advantages of 26-1 in shots and 6-1 in corner kicks.

Raul Escobar (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) took the lone shot of the game for McDaniel.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Swarthmore on Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m.
