BRYN MAWR, Pa. – McDaniel opened up a 49-13 halftime advantage en route to a 91-27 win over Bryn Mawr in non-conference women's basketball action on Saturday.

Lindsey Nichols (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) led the Green Terror (13-1) with 19 points and six rebounds while Karli Zeps (Reisterstown, Md./Seton Keough) added 17 points and seven rebounds. Steph Perez (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) contributed 12 points and four assists while Lauren Ballenger (Silver Spring, Md./Good Counsel) added eight points and a career high-tying seven rebounds off the bench. Jasmine Smith (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) added seven steals.

Sanam Sheriff paced the Owls (0-10) with eight points.

Nichols hit a 3-pointer to stake McDaniel to a 3-0 lead 1:22 into the game before Veronica Roux closed the deficit to 3-2 on the other end.

A Sheriff layup evened the game at 4-all before Zeps hit one free throw to put the Green Terror back in front with 15:56 to play.

Five straight points from Bryn Mawr gave the hosts a 9-5 lead with 15:32 to play before McDaniel called a timeout and went on a 40-2 run over the next 12:28.

The Green Terror held a 49-13 advantage at halftime before extending the lead to 71-13 nearly eight minutes into the second half.

All 12 players scored no fewer than two points in the win.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Gettysburg on Wednesday. Game time is 6 p.m.
