Shelby Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) was one of three players to reach double figures for the Green Terror (12-1, 7-1 CC), contributing a season-high 10 points off the bench. Lindsey Nichols (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) led the way with 12 points while Karli Zeps (Reisterstown, Md./Seton Keough) added 11 points. Alyssa March (Fallston, Md./Fallston) finished with eight points and nine rebounds.
Anajha Burnett paced the Diplomats (3-11, 1-7 CC) with eight points.
A Zeps layup and one free throw capped a 13-0 start over the game's first 4:25 before Emily Wetz got Franklin & Marshall on the board with 15:01 showing.
A March layup, two Taylor free throws and a Steph Perez (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) 3-pointer pushed the lead to 20-2 with 12:45 on the clock.
A Nichols layup gave the hosts their first 20-point lead of the night at 33-13 with 3:51 showing en route to a 39-17 halftime lead.
After Carli Studnicky made it a 47-25 game with 16:10 to play, Nichols canned a triple 17 seconds later to start a stretch of 11 minutes, 13 seconds in which McDaniel outscored the Diplomats 21-0 to open up a 43-point lead.
A Melanie Yeomans (Brunswick, Md./South Hagerstown) steal-and-layup made it a 45-point game with 3:11 to play for the largest margin in the game.
Brittney Davis (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) finished with six assists.
