Box Score 2 ANNVILLE, Pa. – Reagan Folaron (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) recorded 13 kills in a 1-1 day for McDaniel at the Rumble in the Valley hosted by Lebanon Valley in non-conference volleyball action on Saturday.
The Green Terror (6-1) opened the day, dropping a 3-0 decision to the host Flying Dutchwomen (6-1), including a pair of two-point losses in the first two sets. Lebanon Valley took the opening set 26-24 before taking a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-23 win. The hosts wrapped up the match with a 25-12 victory.
The Green Terror rebounded with a 3-0 win over Penn State-Altoona (1-7), winning 25-18, 25-20, 25-19.
Against the Flying Dutchmen, Folaron led the attack with nine kills while Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor High) added seven. Rose added six total blocks. Colette Kellen (Olney, Md./Covenant Life) added 12 assists and eight digs.
Genna Weger (Shrewsbury, Pa./Shrewsbury) led the defense with 10 digs while adding two aces.
Against the Lions, Lexi Corral (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) led the attack with five kills while adding four blocks.
Rose, Folaron and Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) added four kills each.
Sarah Donnelly (Wilmington, Del./Archmere Academy) added 10 assists while Kellen had seven. Haley Duff (Montgomery Village, Md./Gaithersburg) steadied the defense with 12 digs.
The Green Terror returns to action York (Pa.) on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
