WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel won each set by a larger margin to defeat Notre Dame (Md.) 3-0 in non-conference volleyball action on Wednesday.

Colette Kellen (Olney, Md./Covenant Life) led the Green Terror (5-0) to its first 5-0 start to a season since 1994, registering 19 assists and a pair of aces.

McDaniel took the opening set 25-18 before recording a 25-15 win in the second set and closing out the might with a 25-12 victory.

Ashley Pasker paced the Gators (0-4) with six kills.

Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) led the Green Terror attack with 10 kills while Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor High) added nine kills and three aces while hitting .353. Reagan Folaron (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) added eight kills and eight digs while hitting .300.

Lexi Corral (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) chipped in four kills in five attempts while adding three total blocks.

A pair of Martin kills keyed a 7-1 run in the first set that turned a 13-all deadlock into a 20-14 lead en route to the seven-point win.

In the second set, two of Corral's kills led another 7-1 burst that gave McDaniel a 20-10 advantage.

Martin – behind a pair of kills each from Folaron and Rose – served McDaniel to match point before a Brooke Bowman kill made it a 24-12 set.

Rose finished off the night with her final kill on the next serve.

The Green Terror returns to action at the Rumble in the Valley hosted by Lebanon Valley on Saturday. McDaniel takes on the host Flying Dutchmen at 11 a.m. and Penn State-Altoona at 2 p.m.
