WESTMINSTER, Md. – Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) recorded 32 kills to lead McDaniel to a 2-0 day that included a 3-0 win over Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

The Green Terror (13-4, 1-2 CC) downed the Owls 25-15, 25-21, 25-18 before knocking off Penn State-Mont Alto in three sets, 25-18, 25-7, 25-8.

Against Bryn Mawr (9-7, 0-1 CC), Martin notched 20 kills while Genna Weger (Shrewsbury, Pa./Shrewsbury) steadied the defense with 19 digs.

McDaniel put together a 7-1 run in the first set to take a 10-5 lead behind three Martin kills.

A Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor High) ace capped a back-and-forth second set.

In the third set, McDaniel reeled off six straight points to open up a 19-13 lead.

Lexi Corral (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) added seven kills and five blocks while Rose had eight kills and a block.

Against the Lions (6-5), two Martin aces helped the Green Terror open up a 21-15 lead before Rose capped the first set with back-to-back aces.

McDaniel opened up leads of 7-2 and 8-1 in the next two sets en route to the big victories.

Rose and Sarah Donnelly (Wilmington, Del./Archmere Academy) finished with three aces each. Rose added five blocks.

The Green Terror returns to action at Goucher on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
