Box Score ARLINGTON, Va. – Three different McDaniel players found the back of the net to lift their team to a 3-0 victory over Hood on the second day of the Marymount Invitational in women's soccer action on Saturday.
Freshman Lindsey Keen (Salisbury, Md./Parkside), who debuted with a goal on Friday, added a pair of assists on Saturday for the Green Terror (2-0), who won the tournament title as the only 2-0 team in the classic format.
Leah Norris led the Blazers (0-1-1) with five saves in goal.
Nicole Hill (Bowie, Md./Bowie) opened the scoring, carrying the ball up the sideline before driving for a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute.
Elizabeth Reid (Ashburn, Va./Briar Woods) doubled the advantage in the 40th minute, one-touching a Keen cross into the box for her first collegiate goal.
Catherine Wroblewski (Glen Mills, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) finished a second Keen pass from short range in the 72nd minute for the final margin.
McDaniel finished with advantages of 20-1 in shots and 10-0 in corner kicks. Three goalkeepers played for the Green Terror and none needed to make a save to earn the combined shutout.
McDaniel opens the home schedule against Juniata on Thursday. Game time is 4 p.m.
