WESTMINSTER, Md. – Johns Hopkins scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat McDaniel 2-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Wednesday.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made four saves for the Green Terror (7-8-1, 1-6-1 CC) in net.

Kotaro Mitsuhashi scored both goals for the Blue Jays (9-5-2, 3-4-1 CC), who remain alive in the playoff race with one game to play.

Mutsuhashi converted a penalty kick into the left side of the net in the 59th minute before blasting a shot from the right wing in the 88th minute for the only scoring.

Johns Hopkins finished the game with a 20-2 advantage in shots, including 10-0 in the decisive second half.

The Blue Jays also had a 13-3 advantage in corner kicks.

McDaniel concludes the season at home against Gettysburg on Saturday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
