HAVERFORD, Pa. – In a game that both teams needed to win, neither McDaniel nor Haverford was able to find the back of the net and had to settle for a scoreless draw in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.

Freshman Sarah McDonald (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) made eight saves for the Green Terror (6-4-4, 2-3-3 CC) in her first full game between the pipes.

Robin Chernow made two saves for the Fords (6-6-3, 2-5-1 CC), who finished with a 17-3 advantage in shots.

Each team had six corner kicks.

By virtue of the tie and an Ursinus victory at Dickinson, both McDaniel and Haverford were eliminated from the conference playoff race.

Meghan Sturgill (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) took two of the Green Terror's three shots.

McDaniel returns to action at home against No. 6 Johns Hopkins on Tuesday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
