WESTMINSTER, Md. – Franklin & Marshall, ranked seventh in the latest NSCAA Division III Coaches Poll, tallied a pair of second-half goals to defeat McDaniel 2-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Saturday.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the Green Terror (6-5-1, 1-3-1 CC) with six saves between the pipes.

Connor Finn broke up the shutout for the Diplomats (12-0-1, 5-0 CC), finding the back of the net nearly 72 minutes into the game.

Chase TenBrook added an insurance goal in the 85th minute.

Over made five saves in a scoreless first half in which Franklin & Marshall outshot McDaniel, 7-1.

The Diplomats finished with a 12-3 advantage in shots while both teams took four corner kicks.

The Green Terror returns to action at Hood on Tuesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
