WESTMINSTER, Md. - Haverford scored in the 64th minute to break a 1-all deadlock and defeat McDaniel 2-1 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.

Maggie Quinn (Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding) tied the game for the Green Terror (10-4, 4-3 CC), scoring in the 29th minute.

Meg Boyer tallied the game-winner for the Fords (7-2-5, 4-0-3 CC) to remain without a loss in conference play.

Kristen Fiore staked Haverford to a 1-0 lead in the game's 22nd minute before Quinn finished a Julia Pope (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) assist just over seven minutes later.

The Fords finished with an 18-9 advantage in shots.

Haley Jacobs (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) made six saves for McDaniel while Robin Chernow made three stops for Haverford.

The Green Terror returns to action at No. 6 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
