Woolley makes five saves

YORK, Pa. – Three different York (Pa.) players scored to account for a 3-0 win over McDaniel in non-conference women's soccer action on Monday.

Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the Green Terror (4-3) with five saves in goal.

The Spartans (5-1-3) finished with a 14-6 advantage in shots for the game.

Elizabeth Bunn dribbled in off a pass from Kayla Kovalsky to stake York to a 1-0 lead just 1:38 into the game.

In the 36th minute, Traci Mohl found Jess Canami to double the advantage.

Tyler Frantz finished off a Clare Chatham pass in the 53rd minute to set the final margin.

Melanie Glessner finished with four saves for the Spartans.

Meghan Sturgill (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) recorded two of McDaniel's six shots.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Goucher on Wednesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
