Woolley makes five saves

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dickinson scored three goals in the first half en route to a 4-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Wednesday.

Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the Green Terror (5-5, 1-3-1 CC) with fives saves in goal.

Marissa Kunkle led the Red Devils (7-3, 2-2 CC) with two goals while Ashley Fields added two assists.

Field and Bridget Cohen connected to find Olivia Licata for a 1-0 lead just 11:43 into the game.

Fields then found Kunkle 13 minutes later to double the advantage.

In the 34th minute, Kunkle finished an unassisted marker before Nicole Fronsdahl finished in the 82nd minute for the final margin.

Dickinson finished with a 17-7 advantage in shots, including 11-2 in the first half.

Julia Pope (Manchester, Md./North Carroll) and Erica Diffendal (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) had two shots each to lead McDaniel.

The Green Terror returns to action at Neumann on Saturday. Game time is 12 p.m.
