GRANTHAM, Pa. –
Joe Camlin (Westminster,
Md./Winters Mill) went 2-2 at 197 to lead McDaniel at the
Messiah Open in non-conference wrestling action on Saturday.
Camlin won his opening match with a fall in 4:15 before dropping to
the consolation bracket with a 9-2 loss to Wilkes'
Chris Smith. Camlin added a 2-0 win in his first
match of the bracket before falling 8-2 to Jack
Callender.
Torin Lehman (Sitka, Alaska/Sitka) and
James Selfinger (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone)
notched the only other two victories for the Green
Terror.
Lehman (149) notched a 10-9 victory while Selfinger's win
came in the form of a 2-minute, 3-second fall at
heavyweight.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Johns Hopkins on
Tuesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
