WESTMINSTER, Md. – Robert Hollasch
(Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) made two saves and
Adam Care made six stops in a scoreless draw
between McDaniel and Haverford in the Centennial Conference (CC)
men's soccer opener for both teams on Saturday.
The Green Terror (2-4-1, 0-0-1 CC) held a 17-7 advantage in the
shot column over the Fords (2-2-1, 0-0-1 CC), who forged a tie for
the second straight year.
Brandon Smith (Glen Burnie, Md./Glen Burnie) and
Timothy Wineke (Reisterstown, Md./North Carroll)
paced the offense with five shots apiece.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Ursinus on
Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
