DOVER, Del. –Thomas Volain scored in the
37th minute to give Wesley a 1-0 halftime lead en route
to a 3-0 victory over McDaniel in non-conference men's soccer
action on Wednesday.
Robert Hollasch (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) made
two saves for the Green Terror (2-4), who outshot the Wolverines
(3-3), 14-8.
Nick Talarico made nine saves in goal for
Wesley.
At the 36:58 mark, Yolain finished a pass from Craig
Taswell before Will Sutton doubled the
advantage with an unassisted tally in the 78th
minute.
Jason Norris tacked on the third goal with eight
seconds on the game clock, converting an Oscar
Juvera assist.
The Green Terror opens the Centennial Conference slate at home
against Haverford on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
