HAVERFORD, Pa. – Katie Van Aken tallied
the game's lone goal with 3:20 remaining in regulation to
give Haverford a 1-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference
(CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.
The Fords (8-9-1, 5-4-1 CC) held the Green Terror (5-12, 2-8 CC) to
just two Brittany Baer (Westminster,
Md./Westminster) shots while taking 35 of their
own.
Leanne Hollinger (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill)
made 12 saves in goal for McDaniel.
Erin Dowling dribbled to the end line before
passing back to Van Aken, who put the ball in the left side of the
net for the game's only tally.
