WESTMINSTER, Md. – Matthew
Critchlow recorded two of Dickinson's four
goals as part of a 4-1 Centennial Conference (CC) men's
soccer victory over McDaniel on Wednesday.
The Red Devils (11-4-1, 5-2-1 CC) finished with a 15-6 advantage in
shots and a 5-2 edge in corners.
Joseph Potucek (Germantown, Md./St. Johns at Prospect
Hall) tallied the lone goal for the Green Terror (4-10-1,
1-6-1 CC), who dropped its fourth straight game.
Zach Pritchard opened the scoring with an
unassisted tally in the 15th minute. Critchlow and
Thomas Parkinson tallied nearly 15 minutes apart
to push the lead to 3-0 at halftime.
Critchlow made it a 4-0 game at the 60:25 mark before Potucek broke
up the shutout in the 65th minute to set the final
margin.
Michael Ratcliffe (Kingville, Md./Perry Hall) made
five saves in the first 57:54 while Robert Hollasch
(Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) had two in the final
32:06.
McDaniel concludes the season at Gettysburg on Saturday. Game time
is 7 p.m.
