Bruno joined the Green Terror staff in 2013 to coach thesafeties – a position he knows well. In 2014, he will havegeneral oversight of the entire defensive backfield.
The Brick, N.J., native follows his former defensive coordinatorto the Hill. A two-year starter in the Albright secondary forcurrent McDaniel head coach Mike Hoyt, Brunlo started 21 games atsafety, including the ECAC Southeast Bowl as a senior.
He recorded 81 tackles and recorded four interceptions duringhis tenure in the Lions secondary. He added two forced fumbles andtwo fumble recoveries.
He was a member of the 2009 Albright team that reached the NCAAquarterfinals.
Following his graduation with a degree in sociology, Brunoreturned home to coach linebackers at Brick Memorial High School in2012.
Bruno has participated in numerous camps and clinics, includingthe Lauren’s First and Goal Football Camp as both a playerand a coach.
