Fultz, a 2011 graduate, begins his second season as head coach of McDaniel in 2025.
The Green Terror had four All-Centennial Conference selections in his first season at the helm in 2024, the most for the program since 2018. Fultz earned his first win as head coach of his alma mater in his first game, a 7-3 win over Catholic on Sep. 6, 2024 under the lights at Gill Stadium.
The 28th head coach in the 133-year history of Green Terror football and the 10th alum to lead the program, Fultz came to Westminster after spending the previous nine years at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, including the 2023 season as head coach.
Fultz led the Monarchs to a record-breaking season in 2023 as they posted an 8-3 record, including a mark of 7-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) with its second consecutive Centennial-MAC Bowl Series appearance. King's earned a program-best 13 All-MAC selections, including the program's first MAC Offensive Player of the Year since 2000. The team also had a D3football.com All-American for the second-straight season and three all-region selections.
Off the field, Fultz had 40 student-athletes named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll and four receive Academic All-MAC honors. The team also boasted its highest semester grade-point average in 10 years.
Fultz spent his first eight years in Wilkes-Barre as an assistant coach with the Monarchs working with the quarterbacks. He was promoted to offensive coordinator prior to the 2017 season. In five seasons running a multiple spread offense, King's had the top passing offense in the MAC in 2022, ranked second in total offense in 2017 and 2018 and set the school record for yards per game in 2017. The Monarchs also averaged their highest points per game average and highest rushing yards per game average in over a decade in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
Fultz served as the offensive pass game coordinator in 2015 and 2016, overseeing the top-ranked offense and passing team in the MAC in 2016. That year, the team set seven individual school records and ranked in the top-20 nationally in total offense per game and passing offense.
Prior to rejoining the Monarchs, Fultz spent one season as an assistant coach at Allegheny in 2014 working with the running backs. In his first stint at King's, he served as an assistant coach in 2012 and 2013 mentoring the tight ends and running backs. He began his college coaching career in 2011 as an assistant coach in charge of the tight ends and serving as special teams assistant at former Centennial Conference foe Susquehanna.
Fultz played four seasons for the Green Terror under head coach Tim Keating from 2007-10 and was a three-year letter-winner as a tight end. A native of Gratz, Pa., he came to McDaniel from Upper Dauphin High School before receiving his bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Fultz is married to the former Megan Mundy who currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at Goucher College in Towson, Md..
