Goodyear enters his fourth year in charge of the McDaniel equipment room.

Goodyear spent the previous two years as the assistant equipment manager and event staff manager at Penn State-Harrisburg, where he graduated in May 2012.

In his position, he oversaw the setup of and student staff for all home contests. He was also responsible for greeting visiting teams and officials upon their arrival.

As an undergraduate, he worked as a member of Penn State-Harrisburg’s game day event staff. He also worked as a student assistant in the intramural office, where he was not only responsible for setup and oversight but also had scheduling responsibilities of officials.

Goodyear also has experience in facility maintenance, working as a summer maintenance assistant at South Middletown School District. Part of his duties there included the setup and lining of various athletic fields.
