Ramey took over as the interim head coach for field hockey on Sept. 29, 2025. She has served as head women's lacrosse coach since 2014.
This is Ramey's third stint as a field hockey coach and first as a head coach. For four years from 2006-09, she was an assistant coach at McDaniel under head coach Melissa Miranda Jones who holds the program record for most wins with 86. She then spent one season under Allyson Kenyon at Bridgewater (VA) in 2010, helping the Eagles to a 9-9 record.
A 2005 graduate of McDaniel, Ramey was a two-sport athlete, playing field hockey and women's lacrosse. She received the McDaniel's Women's Athletic Alumnae Award given to the most outstanding senior athlete.
Ramey finished her field hockey career with 11 goals, four assists, and 26 points and earned the team's most improved player award in 2003. During her career from 2001-04, McDaniel posted a 56-22 record, including a mark of 26-12 in the Centennial Conference while making three postseason appearances.
Ramey played in 13 games in 2002 as the Green Terror won their first conference championship with wins over Franklin & Marshall and Johns Hopkins before advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship. They also made two appearances in the ECAC Field Hockey Championship in 2001 and 2003.
In women's lacrosse, Ramey was a two-time All-Centennial Conference First Team selection and earned Third Team All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse as a senior. She was also a two-time all-region honoree as a junior and senior. She totaled 73 goals, 26 assists, and 99 points to along with 150 ground balls, 86 draw controls and 76 caused turnovers.
