Kelsey Powers

Powers joins the athletic training staff at McDaniel in 2025-26 after working with the men’s lacrosse program at Division I Johns Hopkins during the 2025 season. She performed musculoskeletal evaluations, planned therapeutic rehabilitation and exercise programs, and monitored patient progress.

Prior to Hopkins, Powers spent the fall at Calvert Hall College High School working primarily with the football team. She performed upper and lower body evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses while providing appropriate therapeutic exercise plans.

During the 2023-24 winter and spring seasons, Powers worked at the Friends School, assisting the basketball, lacrosse, badminton, and tennis teams. She also helped the men’s lacrosse team at Division I Loyola Maryland during the fall in preparation for the 2024 season.

Powers worked with the baseball and women’s lacrosse teams as an intern at Salisbury University in the spring 2023, utilizing various methods of treatment, including ultrasound, electrotherapy, and manual massage.

Powers is a 2023 graduate of Salisbury with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Sports Medicine/Health and was a Student Senator with the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association. She received her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Towson in May 2025 and was a member of the Athletic Training Club executive board.
