Jenna Florenzo

Florenzo returns for her second season as an assistant coach at McDaniel in 2024.

A 2022 graduate of Towson University, Florenzo played in 69 career games with 45 starts for the Division I Tigers, totaling 12 points with five goals and one assist. She scored the game-winning goal against Northeastern on March 27, 2021 while serving as a team captain during the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 seasons.

Off the field, Florenzo was named to the Dean's List nine times, a four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad honoree and selected to CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. In 2018, she was an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction for having a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher and in 2021, received the Towson Athletics Senior Scholar-Athlete Award.

Florenzo earned a bachelor of applied science in accounting and finance and currently works as a Senior Auditor for SB & Company, LLC in Owings Mills.

Florenzo coached with Freedom Hky Club under Sarah Dawson for two years from 2022-24, working with all age groups with a focus on U14, U16, and U19. She coached at both National Indoor Tournaments for U14 and U19 as well as the National Club Championships for U14s.

A native of Clarksville, Md., and graduate of Mount de Sales Academy, Florenzo joined Stateline Field Hockey Club under Jason Mulder and Kati Nearhouse in winter 2024.
