Hailey Bennett

Hailey Bennett was named assistant women's lacrosse coach at McDaniel on Sept. 15, 2025. A former collegiate goalie at the Division II level, she has a strong track record in player development and leadership.

Prior to McDaniel, Bennett served as an assistant coach at Missouri Western State where she specialized in working with the team's goalies, including three-time All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) selection, Mackenzie Porter. She helped lead the Griffons to back-to-back appearances in the GLVC Women's Lacrosse Championship in 2024 and 2025.

Bennett began her collegiate coaching career in 2023 as an intern at Division II Shepherd where she spent five seasons as a goalkeeper, starting all 66 of the team's games from 2019-23 and finishing as the program's all-time leader in saves (705) and ground balls (176). She totaled a Shepherd single-season record 184 saves in 2023.

Bennett was an All-Mountain East Conference First Team selection in 2019 when she posted a then school record 173 saves, including the single game record with 20 against Shippensburg.

A 2023 graduate of Shepherd, Bennett earned a bachelor of science degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Athletic Coaching.

Bennett is a native of Westminster who played at nearby Winters Mill High School under Amalie Meszaros, earning second team All-County honors. She also played six years for Check-Hers Elite Club before spending one year as a goalie coach.
