Pool enters her third season on the cross country staff after asuccessful running career on the Hill.
Following her time on Renner's collegiate squad, Pool hadsuccessful coaching stints at Glenelg and Winters Mills, includinga state championship at the former.
Pool is also a member of Renner's highly successful CentralMaryland Athletic Club (CMAC), which has won the last two teamtitles at in the highly competitive Cherry Blossom 10 miler as wellas finishing third in the Boston Mayor's Cup cross country meet and10th in the 2005 USATF Club National cross country championships.
Pool's resume includes personal bests of 17:07 (5K certifiedroad), 36:24.14 (10K track), 59:35 (10 miles certified road),1:19.45 (half marathon certified road) and 2:53.05 (marathoncertified road).
Pool was a member of the Green Terror's lone CentennialConference cross country championship team in 1999, earned All-MidEast honors twice and helped the cross country team to its highestfinish in the Mid East Reigon (fourth, 1999).
Pool is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate and teaches English atWinters Mill.
