Webster returns for his second season as an assistant coach at McDaniel in 2022 working with the wide receivers.
In his first season in 2021, Webster had two players record over 100 yards receiving against nationally-ranked opponents. Marcus Sessoms had four catches for 124 yards at No. 19 Susquehanna while Matteo DeGennaro caught seven passes for 114 yards and one touchdown versus No. 17 Johns Hopkins.
Webster is a 2021 graduate of Catholic University with a bachelor's degree in history who played four years as a defensive back for the Cardinals. He played in 25 games as a defensive back from 2017-19 while making 18 starts and totaling 123 total tackles, including five for loss and two forced fumbles. He also had three interceptions and three pass breakups and was a team captain in 2019 and 2020.
Off the field, Webster was selected to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team and NFF Hampshire Honor Society as a senior in 2021. He was also a member of Student-Athlete Bible Study.
Webster is a native of Baltimore, Md. who played football and baseball and nearby Calvert Hall College High School. He is currently working on his master's degree in teaching with a focus in secondary social studies at McDaniel.
