McDaniel College

Alexis Watson joined McDaniel in the fall of 2022. As the Associate Director of Athletics, Watson will handle compliance, student engagement, DEI, and various other roles for all 24 varsity sports on the hill. 

Before joining the Green Terror, Watson worked at Mount St. Mary's where she was the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Inclusive Excellence. At Mount St. Mary's, Watson served as a liaison between between coaches, financial aid and university admissions, coordinating and monitoring the recruitment, admission and initial eligibility of prospects for all 24 sponsored sports at Mount St. Mary's. Another role she had at the Mount was centered around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In this role she worked with student-athletes, coaches, and staff to help achieve the strategic initiatives set forth by the University.
