Sujashvili joins the Green Terror staff in 2016 after a successful playing career at Division I Western Michigan.

A scholarship player, she played primarily No. 1 singles over her four-year career as well as No. 1 or No. 2 doubles.

A three-time All-Mid American Conference selection, she was also a three-time Academic All-MAC selection and was named to the Capital One Academic All-District at-large team in 2014. The Freshman of the Year in 2010-11, she went on to receive multiple MAC weekly awards and was named captain her senior year.

She served as a student assistant for her alma mater in 2015, helping with the on-court development of players as well as the team's strength and conditioning program.

She has taught junior group lessons and provided private lessons both in her home country of Georgia and in the United States.

Sujashvili graduated from Western Michigan last May with a 3.98 grade-point average, earning a bachelor of science in psychology and bachelor of arts in sociology. She is currently pursuing her master of science in mental health counseling.
