- Ran a personal best 4k (17:03.9) at the Hood College Blazer Blitz

- Son of John and Kimberly Batty
- Majoring in Accounting
- Brother Kaydan Batty Competes at McDaniel College on the Cross Country and Track & Field Teams
- Godfather Jerry Rice played football at Mississippi State University (1981-84) as a wide receiver. Played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks over a 19 year career. Then was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
