Before McDaniel: Signed letter of intent to attend Army West Point and play football for the Black Knights on Oct. 1, 2023 ... did not play for the 2024 American Conference champions ... earned Maryland Football Foundation Class 1A All-State honors as a senior at Joppatowne ... three-time all-county selection ... as a junior, he recorded 38 tackles, including eight for loss, and 10 pass breakups as the Mariners advanced to the Maryland state semifinals as was ranked as high as No. 5 in the state ... earned all-county and all-conference first team honors ... also competed in basketball and track & field ... had a 3.6 grade-point average.
