The mission of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.

Trick or Terror
Every year, SAAC hosts a trick-or-treating event for the community where children can dress up, play carnival-style games, and receive tons of candy.
Tournament of Champions
Every year at the end of Division III Week, SAAC and the Kinesiology Department host the Tournament of Champions. Elementary and middle-school aged children with disabilities are invited from all over the state of Maryland for a fun-filled day. These athletes get to play sports games throughout the day while partnered with a buddy from McDaniel. This is one of the best days to be on the Hill.
