LANCASTER, Pa. – The McDaniel College men's swimming team opened competition at the Centennial Conference Championships on Thursday, finishing eighth with 52 points.

Joshua Morgan opened the day's events with a 1:44.40 time in the 200-yard medley relay. First year
Cooper Blackburn, sophomore
Zach Duck, first year
Gavin Buchheit and junior
John Hegarty finished with a time of 2:11.25 in the same event.
McCormick, Duck, Gell and Morgan clocked a time of 7:27.15 in the 800-yard freestyle relay while Minarcik, Buchheit, Blackburn and Hegarty finished with a time of 9:32.91 in the same event.
The second day of the conference championship on Friday begins with the prelims at 10 a.m. followed by the finals at 6 p.m.
