WESTMINSTER, Md. – Junior
Joshua Morgan posted two victories to lead the McDaniel College men's swimming team in a tri-meet against Hood and St. Mary's (Md.) inside Harlow Pool on Saturday.
The Green Terror (2-7) defeated the Blazers 66-29, but fell to the Seahawks, 79-16.

Matt Lyons-Bennington began the day's events with a time of 1:49.52 in the 200-yard medley relay, good for a third place finish.
Morgan then claimed the team's first win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.78 seconds, later picking up his second win of the day in the 100-yard freestyle at 50.97 seconds.
Sophomore
Zach Duck picked up a pair of third place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:11.18 and 52.35 seconds, respectively.
Gell finished third in the 100-yard and 200-yard individual medley with times of 1:00.39 and 2:14.50.
First-year
Quinn McCormick clocked in at 59.11 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing just over a second off the lead.
Minarcik picked up times of 58.73 seconds and 2:31.24 in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley, respectively.
Lyons-Bennington secured a time of 1:06.69 in the 100-yard individual medley and a time of 1:16.84 in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Gavin Buchheit ended the day's events with a time of 3:52.83 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
The Green Terror are scheduled for a road meet against Stevenson at the McDonogh School on Saturday. Jan. 17 at 2:30 p.m.
