GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Led by first-year
Isabel Meadows-Soto, the McDaniel College women's cross country team turned in a strong effort in the 6K race at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg on Saturday.
The Green Terror finished 17th out of 33 teams with 516 points. Georgetown Running Club won the meet with 45 points while Gwen Parks of GRC was the individual winner with a time of 21:23.10.
Meadows-Soto cracked the top 30 overall with a personal-best time of 22:50.1, finishing 27th in a field of 300 runners. She now holds the ninth-fastest 6K time in school history and is the fifth-fastest 6K performer in school history. She also set a new program course record, breaking the mark set by Lindsay Wilson in 2008 (22:58.6).
Junior
Maya Colavito followed with a solid season-best performance of 24:56.5 to finish 103rd. First-year
Evie Eggers crossed the line next for the Green Terror in 146th with a personal-best time of 25:47.5. First year
Gianna Corrieri also posted a personal best with a time of 26:34.0.
Senior
Natalie Kaminsky ran a season-best 27:32.3, senior
Abby Warner clocked in with a personal-best of 28:00.5, and senior
Piper Nagaraj posted a time of 30:08.1. Senior
Arianna Lowengrub posted a season-best time of 30:24.3 and first-year
Cassandra McCullough ran a personal best of 33:11.0.
McDaniel returns to the same course in two weeks for the 2025 Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships.
