GLENSIDE, Pa. - The McDaniel College men's tennis team dropped a non-conference road match at Arcadia on Saturday, 5-2.
The Green Terror (0-3) saw solid performances from seniors
Parth Shah and
Quinn Dietsche as the pair won at No. 2 doubles over Matthew Nagy and Leo Dupont, 6-4. Dietsche also posted a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, defeating Lee Conlu, 6-4, 6-0.
Shah battled with Leo Dupont at No. 4 singles, but fell just short, 6-4, 7-6.
Junior
Sylvan Eichenlaub and sophomore
Nick Ferraro battled at No. 3 doubles, 7-5.
Eichenlaub earned the team's second point, winning his match-up at No. 6 singles over Jaylen Ferguson, 6-2, 6-4.
Sophomore
Connor Neal earned two set points at No. 1 singles while senior
Drew Ryder fought at No. 2 singles earning four points in set two. Ferraro played another competitive match at No. 5 singles, coming up short 7-5, 6-3.
McDaniel plays its third match in three days on Sunday when it hosts Saint Vincent at the Warfield Tennis Courts beginning at 12:30 p.m.
