GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Highlighted by senior
Aleksei Dudley, the McDaniel College men's swimming team closed out competition in the 2024 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships at Gettysburg Sunday.
The Green Terror finished the four-day event in seventh place with a total of 144 points, their most since 2020.
Swimming in his final collegiate meet, Dudley was honored on senior night before being a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay that shattered its previous best time of the season. He anchored the team alongside freshman

Ethan Gell and junior
Christian Walker that finished seventh in the A final with a time of 3:27.17. The team's previous best was 3:50.24 set in the same pool back on Oct. 21.
Individually, Dudley swam his last 1,650-yard freestyle, finishing 25th with a time of 19:06.37. He was the first of three consecutive McDaniel finishers as he was followed by freshmen
Cooper Eastlack and
Dimitri Raush-Gernet.
Morgan had the best finish of the day as he was 17th in the 200-yard backstroke in the prelims with a time of 2:05.21. Gell was 20th in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:30.19.
