GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Highlighted by a sixth-place finish by the 800-yard freestyle relay team, the McDaniel College men's swimming team sits in sixth following the first day of the 2024 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships hosted by Gettysburg.
The Green Terror are tied for sixth place with the host Bullets with 58 points. The two teams are just 10 points behind fifth-place Washington College. Swarthmore finds itself in first place with 106 points, just two ahead of second-place Franklin & Marshall.

Christian Walker posted a time of 7:47.43 to finish sixth after Gettysburg was disqualified for an early takeoff.

McDaniel's 200-yard medley relay team of Morgan, Gell, Walker and Dudley touched the wall seventh in the A final with a time of 1:46.73 while the team of Eastlack, Pawley,
Mark Sanelli and Raush-Gernet placed seventh in the B final in 2:13.08.
The second day of the conference championship begins on Friday with the prelims at 10 a.m. before the finals at 6 p.m.
