Colavito Leads Women at Centennial Conference Championship

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Sophomore Maya Colavito led the McDaniel College women's cross country team by finishing 60th at the 2024 Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by Dickinson at Big Spring High School Saturday.

The Green Terror finished 10th with 313 points. Johns Hopkins won with a perfect score of 15 to earn their 15th-straight title. The Blue Jays' Adriana Catalano won the individual title.

Colavito posted a time of 25:29.8, moving up 29 spots throughout the race. It was the fifth-fastest time in program history on the Big Spring course.

Junior Anna Kale ran a time 28:18.7 to place 100th while junior Piper Nagaraj crosed the line in 29:19.2 to place 101st. Junior Natalie Kaminsky placed 105th and senior Emily Paulson ran 30:26.8 to place 112th and round out the top five.

Junior Arianna Lowengrub placed 114th and junior Abby Warner placed 117th.

The Green Terror will be back in action next Saturday, Nov. 8 when they host the 2024 ECAC Cross Country Championships.
