Colavito Posts Personal Best at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Sophomore Maya Colavito ran a personal best to lead the McDaniel College women's cross country team at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Lock Haven University on Saturday.

The Green Terror finished 25th with 730 points. Johns Hopkins won the team title with a score of 34 while Washington & Jefferson's Claire Anderson won the individual title.

Colavito posted a time of 24:29.3 to place 103rd while junior Piper Nagaraj crossed the line in 25:39 to rank as the third-best performer on this course in program history.

Junior Anna Kale ran a personal best with a time of 26:14.6 and is now the sixth-best performer in program history on the Lock Haven course. Junior Natalie Kaminsky crossed the line in 27:49.1 to rank seventh and senior Emily Paulson finished in 27:52.7 to rank eighth.

Junior Abby Warner ran a time of 29:26.7 and junior Arianna Lowengrub posted a time of 30:37.3.
