WESTMINSTER, Md - The Green Terror earned their first win of the season, defeating Juniata 35-87 in a tri-meet at home. They would fall to Ursinus 77-44.
Sophomore Josh Morgan won the 200 back with a time of 2:11.71. Freshman Connor Woodward took fourth with a time of 2:24.93. Morgan placed third in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 58.29. Woodward placed fifth with a time of 1:04.18.
Freshman Niall Navarra won the 200 IM in a time of 2:10.44. Senior Mark Sanelli placed fourth with a time of 2:46.20. Navarra took second with a time of 2:23.38 in the 200 breast. Sanelli took fifth with a time of 3:12.86. Navarra placed third in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.54. Freshman Xavier Byrd placed sixth with a time of 1:39.94.
The 200 free relay of Morgan, Freshman Zach Duck, Sophomore Ethan Gell, and Senior Christian Walker won with a time of 1:37.01. The 200 yard medley relay team of Morgan, Navarra, Walker, and Gell placed second with a time of 1:48.16.
Duck placed second in the 200 yard freestyle with a personal best time of 1:52.99. Gell placed fifth with a time of 2:03.57. Duck would also place third in the 50 free with a time of 24.18. Woodward claimed fifth with a time of 26.37. Byrd, sophomore Aaden Latos, and sophomore John Hegarty took the seventh, eighth, and ninth spots. Duck later grabbed third in the 100 free with a time of 52.77. Gell followed in 55.92 to place fourth. Byrd, Latos, and Hegarty grabbed seventh, eighth, and ninth again.
Walker placed second in the 200 fly with a time of 2:07.12. Sanelli took fourth with a time of 3:22.15. Walker placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 55.11. Senior Aleksei Dudley swam 1:03.47. Dudley placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:43.93. Sophomore Dimitri Raush-Gernet followed in third with a personal best time of 12:24.41. Dudley claimed fourth in the 500 free with a time of 5:40.65. Raush-Gernet swam 5:57.41 to place fifth.
The McDaniel College Swim Team will be back in action on November 16th against Stevenson at McDonogh School.
