GETTYSBURG, Pa - The Green Terror fell to Gettysburg 39 - 218, and Swarthmore 38 – 219 in the Centennial Conference West Quad Meet hosted by Gettysburg College
Senior Aleksei Dudley placed fifth in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:36.32. Sophomore Dimitri Raush-Gernet followed in sixth with a time of 13:00.64. Dudley also took tenth in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.08. Senior Mark Sanelli followed in 11th with a time of 1:16.39.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Sophomore Josh Morgan, Freshman Niall Navarra, Senior Christian Walker, and Freshman Zach Duck placed seventh with a time of 1:47.01. Also finishing seventh was the 400 yard freestyle team of Walker, Navarra, Duck, and Morgan with a time of 3:30.29.
Sophomore Ethan Gell placed eighth in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:40.86. He also placed ninth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.42. In the 200 yard IM Gell placed ninth with a time of 2:20.17. Dudley followed in tenth with a time of time of 2:24.18. Gell placed ninth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.42.
Navarra placed eighth in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.23. In the 500 yard freestyle Navarra placed eighth with a time of 5:22.18. Raush-Gernet followed in ninth with a time of 6:17.08.
Walker placed ninth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.78. Raush-Gernet swam 27.03 to place tenth. Sanelli followed in 11th with a time of 27.34. Sophomore Aiden Letos placed 12th swimming 38.99.
In the 100 yard backstroke Morgan placed ninth with a time of 59.26. Freshman Connor Woodward followed in tenth with a time of 1:05.20. Morgan placed ninth in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:12.56. Woodward followed in tenth with a time of 2:30.12.
Duck took ninth in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 52.32. Letos followed in tenth with a time of 1:29.20. In the 200 yard freestyle Duck placed ninth with a time of 1:56.07.
The McDaniel College Swim Team will be back in action on October 26th against Washington College in a dual meet.
